Startup Bakery is the serial co-founder and first investor of the vertical AI‑native startups it creates. Every company starts from a thesis of the studio, goes through the validations of the Business Recipe and is designed from day one to be integrated as a business unit of an industrial partner. A journey built this way involves three different figures, each with a precise role.
Co-founders
We look for experts with years of deep experience in their own vertical and a bent for frontier technologies. The business idea is not something you have to bring: it comes from the studio's theses and is already validated the lean way by the time you sit at the table. You bring the knowledge of the industry; the studio brings capital, a dedicated team and the AI technology infrastructure.
Industrial partners
The studio's companies are born outside your perimeter, with our capital and our method, and are designed to become business units of your company. You can watch them grow in the portfolio, join the cap table in the early stages and integrate an asset made of market position, direct customer relationships and proprietary data of the vertical.
Professional investors
The studio goes through the riskiest phases of every company with its own capital, inside the discipline of the stage gates, and optimises for repeatable industrial exits rather than unicorns.
