Kontai
FinOps · 2025
The platform that manages the relationship between companies and recurring service suppliers, bringing spend, renewals and anomalies under control.

The startup
Kontai was born to keep recurring spend under control at all times: it automatically centralises and organises all the information related to subscription software, offering full visibility on costs, renewals, vendor performance and internal usage.
The need identified
The analyses run by the studio highlighted an increasingly critical problem in managing subscription software: the dispersion of key information. Despite the wide adoption of payment tools, email and management software, even structured companies lack a centralised system that intelligently gathers invoices, renewals, incidents and team feedback. The consequence is a sharp increase in operational effort: manual monitoring, continuous reconstruction of information and dependence on knowledge fragmented across people, departments and unintegrated tools. A SaaS memory gap that leads to inefficiencies, hidden costs and poor visibility on the real usage of company software.

The solution
Kontai brings invoices, renewals, incidents, vendor performance and team feedback together in a single intelligent timeline, removing the fragmentation of manual processes. With a generative AI engine and a simplified usability model, it guides stakeholders along the entire life cycle of the relationship with every SaaS supplier, from receiving invoices to handling anomalies, from monitoring renewals to the overall assessment of vendors, with proactive notifications and alerts that prevent unwanted renewals. It requires no specific technical skills and is designed for cross-company use: CFOs, COOs, IT managers, finance, procurement and anyone involved in cost control and software governance.
