Milan, 4 October 2021: Veterly, the solution that simplifies the veterinarian/client relationship for the benefit of our life companions, is available from today on the web and on the main app stores. The first startup spun up by the startup studio Startup Bakery has in fact decided to go public on the market on World Animal Day, celebrated today alongside the festivities for Saint Francis of Assisi, who has always been its symbol of love and protection.
From today, veterinarians can therefore register on the intelligent communication and telemedicine platform to simplify and make more efficient the relationship with their clients, in order to care for a greater number of patients. Less time on the phone and on WhatsApp and more visits and consultations, thanks to the management of all communications from a single point of access and to the support of a virtual assistant that eases communication processes, to a smart calendar with automatic appointments and guided triage, to automatic reminders with the possibility of rescheduling visits directly online and check-in on arrival at the practice, and to automated, fast online payment collection.
“At Veterly we believe the veterinarian should concentrate on their most important task: caring for animals. That is why we created innovative tools to speed up everything else, commented Luca Marconato and Annalisa Mantovanelli, co-founders of Veterly together with Startup Bakery , Interactions with clients often concern medical consultations delivered free of charge and outside working hours. Veterly will help them build a healthy, honest and transparent relationship with the client, clearly setting out limits and expectations, in compliance with the code of professional conduct. With Veterly it will be the veterinarian who decides whether and how to deliver remote consultations, live or asynchronously”.
According to recent research conducted by Veterly together with Startup Bakery, in fact, more than half of veterinarians consider receiving photos and videos on WhatsApp “a problem”, and almost 60% would welcome a reduction in the time spent handling client requests across the various communication channels. More than 80% would like to see their professional value recognised in this kind of “extra” activity too. If it were reduced by even 50%, the veterinarian would be able to see up to 2 more animals per day.
“We designed Veterly with the goal of putting the veterinarian’s professionalism to work: we simplify their daily activities to increase the number of visits, make their time count and reduce their stress, added Alessandro Arrigo, CEO and founder of Startup Bakery, For anyone who would like to be part of this project, the 700,000 euro capital raise is still open”.
Based on cloud technologies, Veterly requires no complex installations or proprietary server configurations. Today veterinarians can access it through a dedicated web panel, while clients can send requests or receive communications through a simple mobile app, already available on the Play Store and the App Store.
Startup Bakery
Startup Bakery is the Italian startup studio founded by Alessandro Arrigo and Angelo Cavallini in February 2020 with the goal of bringing to life sustainable B2B SaaS companies with a strong Artificial Intelligence component, and of allowing founders, companies and professional investors to express their potential.
The Studio guarantees the serial application of tools, skills and methodologies already present in the team, and stands beside the co-founder through every phase, from the raise to the exit, making them progressively more independent. Thanks to a proprietary algorithm, it can count on advanced capabilities for collecting and processing market data in order to identify niches of interest to occupy, while the cyclical validation of the initiatives launched is guaranteed by the application of the lean method.
The user-centred Interaction Design approach guaranteed by the know-how of Donux, the UX/UI company spun up by Startup Bakery itself, finally delivers simple, effective user experiences.
